Toyota India Vice Chairman Vikram Kirloskar passes away

Vikram Kirloskar was the fourth-generation head of the Kirloskar Group.

Vikram Kirloskar, Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, has passed away. He was 64.

The news of his demise was confirmed by Toyota India on its social media handles. Reports suggest he suffered a massive heart attack.

Vikram Kirloskar was the fourth-generation head of the Kirloskar Group. Besides Toyota India, he also led Kirloskar Systems Ltd. as Chairman and Managing Director.

Kirloskar was a mechanical engineering graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also held several positions at CII, SIAM and ARAI.
