Toyota Land Cruiser spied undisguised in the Middle East

The 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser facelift has been captured on camera. The design of this new facelift is an extension to the styling of the current and older avatars, hence, it doesn't look too different than the outgoing models.

The front is still dominated by the large hexagonal chrome grill with 3 horizontal slats and a large 'T' logo in the centre. The headlamps do bear some resemblance to the 80-series. These house twin projectors and have been split horizontally by a chrome extension of the grill. The air dam also has a chunky chrome insert with 'Land Cruiser' badging. There is more chrome added around the fog lamps. The bonnet on this SUV has two central bulges, giving it a muscular look.

The rear witnesses new tail lamps (which might be full LED units) and a chrome number plate applique, once again, with Land Cruiser embossed. Apart from them, the tailgate, bumper and reflectors witness minor changes. The side profile hasn't been clicked but expect minimal changes to the side profile too. A new design for the alloy wheels is expected in this version.

These images were procured by an Instagram user hamad1two3 from one of Toyota's Middle Eastern facilities.
