Trailblazer listed on Chevrolet India website; launch soon

Chevrolet India has listed the Trailblazer on its website. The vehicle is expected to be launched later this month.

The Trailblazer is a 7-seater SUV. It measures 4,878 mm in length, 1,902 mm in width and 1,834 mm in height and has a wheelbase measuring 2,870 mm.

The Trailblazer is powered by a 2.8L, 4-cylinder, Duramax turbocharged diesel engine that produces 197 BHP and 500 Nm of torque. The vehicle will come with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive only.

Chevrolet has equipped the Trailblazer with features such as a My Link infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity, climate control and cruise control. Safety features include dual front airbags, pre-tensioner seatbelts, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, hill descent control, hill start assist and reverse parking sensors and camera.

The Trailblazer will compete with other SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Ford Endeavour.
