Triumph lists Tiger 850 Sport on India website

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has listed the Tiger 850 Sport on its Indian website. This suggests that the bike could be launched in the country in the days to come.

The Tiger 850 Sport was unveiled in November this year. It will become the entry-level offering in the company's Tiger range.

The Tiger 850 Sport is a tarmac-focused adventure tourer. It is powered by an 888cc, liquid cooled, in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces 84 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 82 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The bike uses a 6-speed transmission and a slip and assist clutch. It comes with two riding modes - Road and Rain.

Triumph has equipped the Tiger 850 Sport with twin LED headlamps with an integrated LED daytime running light, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster and a 20-litre fuel tank. It will be available in two colours - Graphite Diablo Red and Graphite Caspian Blue.

The bike comes with a 45 mm upside-down Marzocchi fork suspension at the front and an adjustable Marzocchi monoshock at the rear. It rides on 19-inch with 100/90 section tyres and 17-inch wheels with 150/70 section tyres at the front and rear respectively. Stopping power comes from twin 320 mm discs at the front and a 255 mm disc brake at the rear. The Tiger 850 Sport has a dry weight of 192 kg.
