Triumph Speed Twin 900 launched at Rs. 8.35 lakh

The Speed Twin 900 was previously known as the Street Twin.

Triumph has launched the Speed Twin 900 in India at prices starting from Rs. 8.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Speed Twin 900 was previously known as the Street Twin. The retro-styled motorcycle features a classic teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round headlamp, a flat seat and swept-up exhausts.

The Speed Twin 900 is equipped with a conventional telescopic fork suspension and gets twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike rides on alloy wheels and gets disc brakes at both ends.

Powering the Speed Twin is a 900cc parallel-twin engine that makes 64 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 80 Nm @ 3,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

In India, the Speed Twin 900 is available in three colour options – Jet Black, Matte Ironstone and Matte Silver Ice.
