Upcoming Hero Dash spotted again; gets external fuel filler

Earlier this month, the upcoming 110 cc scooter from Hero MotoCorp, the Dash was spotted testing. Now the scooter has been spied again and a new image suggests that it will get an external fuel filler.

A close look at the rear of the Dash, reveals a fuel filler located between the grab rail and tail lamp. This will mean that refuelling will not be a tedious process as the rider does not have to unlock and lift the seat at the time of filling up.

The Hero Dash sports a 111 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.44 bhp and 9.4 Nm of torque and is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The scooter has a 6-litre fuel tank, a telescopic front suspension and drum brakes all round with an integrated braking system. It weighs 110 kg.

The Dash will be equipped with features such as turn-indicators mounted on the front apron, LED tail lamps, tubeless tyres, a digital instrument cluster with low fuel, service, and side stand indicators, power outlet to charge a mobile phone, and illuminated under-seat storage.

Hero is likely to position the Dash at the top of its scooter line-up. It will target the market-leading Honda Activa.
