Updated Toyota Etios and Liva spied

The Toyota Etios and Liva are not the hottest selling cars from the world's largest car maker. These two products have not been able to match products from competitors like Maruti, Honda and Hyundai in the India market. Now, with the festive season in full swing, Toyota has decided to give its entry-level offerings mild updates in an effort to give their sales a boost. The refreshed Etios and Liva are expected to be launched on October 15.

Images put up by Gaadiwaadi.com indicate that the two cars get a redesigned grille. However, the one on the Etios features a generous dose of chrome, the one on the Liva is body coloured. Other changes include ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators and parking sensors.

Coming to the interiors, the cars are said to get better quality fabrics on the seats and door inserts. Both cars have a two-tone interior colour scheme with chrome and faux wood inserts and leather-wrapped steering wheels. Other features that are likely to been provided are electrically adjustable ORVMs and driver's side airbag. These are rumoured to be a part of standard equipment across all variants of the cars.

Toyota is not likely to give the Etios or Liva any mechanical upgrades.
