Valentino Rossi to launch VR46 e-MTB range

The company is said to have the full unveil of the VR46 electric mountain bike at EICMA 2021.

Valentino Rossi's VR46 brand is said to be expanding its product portfolio soon to include a range of electric bicycles. The electric mountain bikes have been developed by the VR46 brand in partnership with e-mobility specialists, MTB Distributions. The VR46 e-MTB will be offered in two variants - Premium and Limited Edition.

The Limited Edition trim, as the name suggests will be limited to just 46 units. It will come with plenty of carbon fibre components, a wireless gearbox and a certificate of authenticity signed by Valentino Rossi.

Apart from the above, all other components will be identical on both trims of the VR46 e-MTB. Both electric bikes are expected to feature 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear wheels, shod with Pirelli Scorpion e-tyres.

Reports also suggest the e-MTB will come with a Bosch-sourced electric motor. However, the full technical details of the VR46 e-MTB is yet to be announced. The company is said to have the full unveil of the VR46 electric mountain bike at EICMA 2021, where it will also reveal the pricing and other details.
