Volkswagen Arteon previewed ahead of Geneva debut next year

Volkswagen has revealed a sketch of the Arteon - its upcoming luxury sedan offering. This car is expected to be the automaker's new flagship sedan, positioned above the Passat in its product portfolio. It will essentially be a replacement of the Passat CC four-door coupe.

The sketch reveals that the Volkswagen Arteon will get a four-door fastback structure. The front will get a horizontally slated radiator grille and three-dimensional LED headlights. It will also feature frameless windows and top-hinged tailgate, as seen on the Audi A7 and the Skoda Superb.

The sedan will be making its world premiere at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March next year. It will go on sale in international markets in mid-2017.
