Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport variant unveiled

The car was unveiled alongside the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport trims.

Volkswagen showcased a new variant of the Virtus called 'GT Plus Sport' at the recently held Annual Brand Conference. The car was unveiled alongside the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport trims. 

The Virtus GT Plus Sport gets a few cosmetic changes compared to the standard trims. It features smoked LED headlights, a Carbon Steel Grey roof, red GT badges, red brake calipers and chrome door handles. It gets 16-inch alloy wheels painted in gloss black and black ORVMs, bumper inserts and a black spoiler.

Inside, the Virtus GT Plus Sport gets black leatherette upholstery with grey stitching, a black headliner, a Sport steering wheel with grey stitching, aluminium pedals and more. The grab handles, roof lamp housing and sun visors are finished in black.

The Virtus GT Plus Sport will be powered by the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 148 BHP and 250 Nm. It is likely to be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG.
