VW website to check if your car is affected by emissions scam

Volkswagen has launched a microsite, which enables its customers to check if their cars are affected by the emission scandal.

Customers are required to enter their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), which can be found in the service book or at the bottom of the car's windscreen.

The system only checks Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) of the brands Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (excluding Amarok). All vehicles that have been sold in the USA and Canada cannot be considered in search.
