Watch classic F1 races on Star Sports Select 2 from April 10

As the 2020 Formula 1 season has been delayed due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Star Sports will be airing some of the best races from the past that were dominated by champions like Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso.

The races will be aired on Star Sports Select 2, every Friday (7-8 pm), Saturday (7-8 pm) and Sunday (7-9 pm) from April 10, 2020.

Here are some of the races that fans can enjoy -

1984 Monaco GP : The race is remembered for the duel between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. The race was stopped due to rain and the victory was awarded to Prost.

1992 Monaco GP : Ayrton Senna pipped Nigel Mansell to the chequered flag by a margin of just 0.2 seconds, making it one of the closest finishes in F1 history.

1993 European GP : Senna started from fourth on the grid and went on to lap every single driver except for 2nd placed Damon Hill.

1996 Spanish GP : Michael Schumacher won his first race for Ferrari.

1997 European GP : Jacques Villeneuve was crowned world champion after Schumacher spun off and had to retire.

1998 Belgian GP : This race can be remembered for the massive 13-car pile-up at the start, which led to the race being stopped.

1999 Canadian GP : Michael Schumacher, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve crashed into the same trackside, which later came to be known as the Wall of Champions.

2000 Belgian GP : Mika Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher fought it out on the track and eventually, the Finn won.

2003 Malaysian GP : Fernando Alonso became the youngest driver to claim an F1 pole, but it was Kimi Raikkonen who won the race - his first Grand Prix win.

2003 Hungarian GP : Fernando Alonso started from pole and won the race, becoming the youngest ever F1 race winner.
