According to a media report, the demand for cars has increased Wuhan after the lockdown ended.

It is reported that car dealerships were caught unawares by the sudden rise in demand for new vehicles. Some dealers reported pre-lockdown levels of sales. Families are said to be buying their second cars, leading to an increase in demand for smaller vehicles. Sales are rising due to the assumption that personal vehicles are a safer alternative to public transport.

Wuhan was the original centre of the coronavirus and one of the first regions to be sealed off. The official lockdown ended on April 8, 2020, and most businesses are slowly returning to normalcy.
