When I first met Robin at a Team-BHP meet, he couldn't speak in Hindi, nor did he talk much. I thought he was a typical So-Bo snob. How wrong I was proven to be. All my perceptions about RT changed at the 1st Mega meet. At that meet, I saw the real Robin...wild and crazy. He really opened up and we actually hit it off pretty well from there.

He was obsessed with his cars and bikes, taking care of them and discussing them for hours together with friends. He loved dogs; that was another common factor between us. I used to look up to him and keep pestering him with questions about German cars, especially the Octavia. He always took time out to help me. In fact, he loved helping out anyone who came to him with problems about cars and stuff.

He usually took his own sweet time arriving at decisions which drove quite a few people nuts, but that's the way he was. He would only go ahead with something if he was absolutely sure.

Robin loved his bike rides, he rode safe and defensive. To me, RT was the sweetest and most genuine guy I've met.

I miss him today. Some people simply walk into your life and make a permanent place for themselves. RT is right there on top in my heart.

I met Robin online on another forum (Rddreams.com). Always knew him as Rtech, and he knew me as vsdoc.

Both of us being Parsis, were equally crazy about our rides (me my Bullet 500, he his Kawasaki 400). I found him to be articulate, grounded, knowledgeable and having a wry sense of humor. He was obviously a seasoned biker even then, and already one of the "oldies" of the online biking community. We finally met once at a group ride to Amby Valley. Even though I was on a slower bike, we had great fun dicing with each other on the curves.

A really nice guy, whom I will always miss. May Dada Ahura Mazda Khodaiji always look over him and those he left behind. Fair winds and open roads bro!
