Bajaj CT100 gets 8 new features; priced at Rs. 46,432

The Bajaj CT100 is the most affordable entry-level 100cc motorcycle.

Bajaj has launched the CT100 KS with 8 new features for this festive season. The commuter bike is priced at Rs. 46,432 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The CT100 KS comes with rubber tank pads, front suspension bellows, fuel meter, handlebar with cross tube, wider and flatter seat, enlarged grab rail, flexible clear lens indicators and extended mirror boot.

The CT100 KS is powered by a 102cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.8 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8.34 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

The CT100 KS is available in three colours - Gloss Ebony Black, Matte Olive Green, and Gloss Flame Red.

Bajaj Platina & CT range of BS6 commuter bikes launched

Bajaj Auto has launched the Platina and CT range of commuter bikes with BS6 compliant fuel injected engines.

Prices for the CT range start at Rs. 40,794. The Platina range is priced from Rs. 47,264. It includes the Platina 100 Electric Start which costs Rs. 54,797 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Both the Platina and CT come with 100cc and 110cc engine options. The engines come with an electronic injection system that was developed by the R&D centre at Bajaj Auto. The new system is claimed to make the engine run smoother without affecting fuel economy.

The CT110 now comes with an LED daytime running lights and a bash plate to protect the engine on rough terrains.

Bajaj offers 5 free services, 5-year insurance & warranty

Bajaj Auto has introduced its 5-5-5 offer ahead of the festive season. The company is offering 5 years of free damage insurance cover and warranty along with 5 free services on select motorcycles from its portfolio. The offer commences on October 5, 2018.

5-year free insurance cover is offered with the Platina, Discover, Pulsar and V range of bikes. In addition to the 3 free services, CT100, Platina, Discover, Pulsar and V customers get 2 more free services. The bike maker is also offering a 5-year warranty on all purchases made during the offer period. 

According to the company, customers can expect to save up to Rs. 9,800 on the Pulsar range, Rs. 5,200 on the V range, Rs. 4,800 on the Discover and Rs. 4,100 on the Platina.

Bajaj CT100 with Electric Start launched at Rs. 41,997

Bajaj has launched the CT100 motorcycle equipped with electric start. The Bajaj CT100 commuter motorcycle now gets electric start on the top-spec variant and it is priced at Rs. 41,997 (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

The CT100 Alloy ES is available in the following colour options - Black with silver & red decals, Black with silver & blue decals and in Red. The bike measures 1,945 mm in length, 770 mm in width, 1,072 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,235 mm. It weighs 108 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 litres.

The new variant comes with a 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that pumps out 7.6 BHP and 8.24 Nm of torque. It uses hydraulic telescopic front suspension and twin-coil spring shock absorber at the rear. 110 mm drum brakes are equipped on both 17-inch alloy wheels.

Bajaj silently launches new Platina base & CT100 top variant

Bajaj has introduced two new variants of the Platina and CT100 commuter bikes. The CT100 ES Alloy is priced at Rs. 41,997 while a new base variant- Platina ES Spoke is priced at Rs. 42,650 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The CT100 is now available with an electric start and alloy wheels. The single-cylinder, air-cooled engine powering it remains unchanged. The 99.27 cc engine develops 8 BHP @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm @ 4500 rpm.

The 102 cc, single-cylinder DTS-I engine on the Platina makes 8 BHP @ 7500 rpm and has a maximum torque of 8.6 Nm @ 5000 rpm. The new base variant gets an electric start and spoked wheels instead of alloys.
