2023 Hero Glamour launched at Rs 82,348

The Hero Glamour disc variant costs Rs 4,000 more than the drum variant.

Hero MotoCorp has re-launched the Glamour in its BS6.2 avatar in India. It is available in two variants: drum and disc, priced at Rs 82,348 and Rs 86,348 (ex-showroom), respectively.

The 2023 Glamour is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine, which has been updated to comply with the BS6.2 emission norms. The engine makes 10.35 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.4 Nm @ 6,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Glamour is based on a diamond frame suspended by conventional telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is either via a 240 mm disc or 130 mm drum brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear.

Besides the updated engine, the 2023 Glamour also gets a digital instrument console, a USB charging port and the i3s start/stop tech.

The 2023 Hero Glamour is available in three colour options: Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue-Black and Sports Red-Black.

Hero Glamour old design being relaunched in BS6.2 avatar

Exclusive images of the 2023 Glamour BS6.2 confirm that production is already underway

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to relaunch the Glamour in BS6 Phase 2 avatar. We have received exclusive images of the bike, confirming that production is already underway.

Besides minor changes like new painted panels and decals, the Hero Glamour BS6.2 retains the old design. The bike gets a stylish headlamp cowl, fuel tank extensions, a single-piece seat and a digital instrument console.

The 2023 Glamour is expected to be powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The BS6 version put out 10.73 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The updated bike will be OBD2 compliant as required by regulation.

The Glamour also retains the same suspension setup as before. It includes a telescopic fork at the front and 5-step adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. The braking setup consists of a front disc brake and a conventional drum brake at the rear.

Hero MotoCorp could be working on a TVS Raider rival

Looking at the engine block and crankcase, it appears to be a 125cc block similar to the Glamour 125.

Hero MotoCorp has lined up a wide variety of new models for the Indian market. The bike maker recently launched Xtreme 160R 4V and is now working on a more affordable bike.

Spy images suggest that the new model could be a new 125cc model that could rival the likes of the TVS Raider. The test bike features aggressive styling with a sport headlamp and fairings. It also has a split seat and a narrow tail section.

Looking at the engine block and crankcase, it appears to be a 125cc block similar to the Glamour 125. The bike is equipped with a conventional telescopic fork up front and a mono-shock at the rear. It rides on alloy wheels and is fitted with a front disc brake and a drum brake at the rear.

Hero MotoCorp plans slew of launches in the next 2 to 3 months

Hero MotoCorp has lined-up at least five new products for the Indian market, including a 125cc scooter.

Hero MotoCorp has planned a slew of product launches for the next 2-3 months. This includes major updates along with all-new models.

We've been told that the bike maker has lined-up at least five new products for the Indian market. These were recently showcased at the National Dealers Conclave held in Bangalore. The most anticipated of them all is the all-new Karizma XMR.

Hero is resurrecting the 'Karizma' brand with a new 210cc motorcycle. The new model is expected to draw inspiration from the original. Spy images have revealed a fully-faired bike with low-set handlebars and a short windscreen. It will feature an upside-down fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear.

The bike maker also plans to launch the Xtreme 160R. Test mules of this model have also been spotted. It is also expected to have upside-down forks for the first time.

In the commuter segment, we can expect the return of the Passion Plus. It could be powered by a frugal 100cc single-cylinder engine. Also on the cards, is the launch of the Hero Glamour.

Besides motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp is also planning to introduce a new 125cc scooter. The Xoom 125 will join its sister model, Xoom 110, which was launched in January this year. The latter is powered by a 110.9cc engine that makes 8.05 BHP and 8.70 Nm.

Hero Glamour Xtec launched at Rs. 78,900

The bike comes with a bank-angle sensor and side-stand engine cut-off.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour Xtec - a new top-spec variant of the bike. It is priced at Rs. 78,900 for the drum brake version, while the disc brake version costs Rs. 83,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Glamour Xtec comes with an LED headlamp and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps support. The bike also features a USB charger, bank-angle sensor and side-stand engine cut-off.

The Glamour Xtec is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 10.7 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The bike features Hero's i3s idle start/stop system.

New Hero Glamour X-TEC variant details leaked ahead of launch

the Glamour X-TEC will be available in three colours – Techno Black, Grey Blue and Grey Red.

Hero MotoCorp is planning to introduce a new variant of the Glamour motorcycle. This variant, called the X-TEC, is expected to be positioned above the regular Glamour in the company’s model line-up. The company had filed a trademark for the 'X-TEC' name in November 2020.

The Glamour X-TEC is likely to be powered by the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the regular Glamour. This unit produces 10.58 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm @ 6,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

According to a leaked internal presentation, the Glamour X-TEC will be available in three colours – Techno Black, Grey Blue and Grey Red. It will get features such as an all-digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity and LED headlight with a new console. The instrument cluster will sport a digital tachometer and speedometer, while also featuring a gear position indicator and RTMI.

The Hero Glamour X-TEC will compete with the Honda SP 125 in the 125cc commuter segment.
