Lift kits are available for GV too, but it messes with the handling, so I am not so eager for it.

The first truck pictured (blue) is highly modified and costs over $60,000 and the 2nd one (black) is not very modified but will run you over $20,000.

The Ford F-250 diesel has either a 7.3L, 6.0L, or 6.4L displacement and gets about 5 or 6 kilometers per liter, and the petrol version is a 6.8 liter V10 and you will be lucky to get 4 kpl.

There are companies in the U.S. that will do a RHD conversion for $15,000 or so. Then comes the issue of import duties. The last time I checked the duty will roughly cost you 100% of whatever you paid. So the costs start to get really high.

How do I know this? One of my vehicles in California is a Ford F-250 diesel. (pic attached)

C'mon, you cannot possibly want a bigfoot and want handling at the same time!

khaadu, lift kits are available and you can lift the vehicle without the kits also, just need to modify certrain parts, instead of getting into import trouble i recommend by a new tata 207 which is a 4*4, PS, A/C.. the only thing what you will have to do is get the good tyers and rims and lift the vehicle and you are all set to go.

Get a Xenon / Endy / Getaway with a lift kit. A Safari / Bolero wont cut it.

A kit can do wonders to a Safari or a Endy !!

I think TATA is about to launch the Xenon soon, maybe then Khaadu - you can have your dream come true.

My favourite Pick Up is Mitsubishi Warrior.

It is a bit confusing. Would like to understand the reasons for this.

@ adc - The Xenon looks too good.

The second pic is one mean truck - Is that a Cadillac Escalade ? I may be wrong though.

Cadillac Escalade it is.

Xenon's front end with a modification can come close and will be similar to this, though for that particular picture I dont like those hideous green flames.

Xenon can also be made similar to these Nissans with lift.

But then nothing comes close to a Dodge Ram BFT.

The Chrysler people claim that BFT does not stand for what you think it does, instead suggesting less profane names like Big Fine Truck or Built For Towing.
