Hey dont delete this post, let everyone know of the fakes.. If somebody had passed me this wiring kit and told me its a original I would have beleived it, now I know better.

Folks, installers dont mind giving bills even for fakes, its not that they will give bill only for originals. On the other hand there are also installers who will give you the original but not give you a bill or rather give you an option of saving some money by not taking the bill thus avoiding sales tax or something like that.. they give you the warranty cards and all.

I think its very important that we publicise the availability of such fakes so that atleast poeple who are interested in buying genuine parts dont get cheated. People who are keen on buying from the fakes will continue to do so no matter what you say.

Sam a question for you.. how do you identify
1. A genuine JBL/Infinity - is there any kind of hologram or special packaging thats used.
2. Is there anyway to identify seconds being passed of as firsts.

The monster returns

Last year we took care of the ugly fake monster. This year it has returned.

Please note there are now 2 fake JBL wiring kits.

1) A large pack

This pack contains power cabling, fuse block and RCA cables. They are of poor quality.

Inside photos:
This product costs about 1200-1500 rupees from some dealers. It is a fake. You will not get a bill for this product.

2) Small pack

This is the same pack as last years product but the wires inside have changed. Costs between 250-500/-

These wires are fake/not genuine/spurious and of poor quality.

I have said this before, JBL is not a wiring company, we do not regualarly make cables for car audio installation.

We do however, have only ONE high quality wiring product.

This is for the info of those interested only. Legal action is underway from our side.

thanks SAM bhai,
but this large pack from behind looks like an original or at least something that took a long and hard time to copy in trying to make it look like an original JBL product.
hope you catch all these guys trying to cash in on your good name.

From the shine on the P.V.C of these wires i can tell they are pretty bad quality ones. I own A wire factory and got a proposal to manufacture fake monster wires. I declined.
Creating good quality RC wires is not quite a big challenging task but Indian manufacturers aim at maximum profit(May be because of unstable rate of Copper here) thus resulting into poor quality.
Thus 90% Indian wires are of bad quality.

Most of the wiring kits selling in numbers are all fake, this JBL thing Sam showed, then the Boss kits, there are 3 grades in that also, Boss, Bossi and Bose, really funny, the 8ga power wire is not even 10 Gauge actually, and not even copper, its some silver alloy coated with copper color.
CHEEEAAP!!
Pls stay away, you will spend on a wiring kit once in a lifetime or maybe twice, please spend a little extra and assure yourself quality and peace of mind to go with the money invested on ICE.
