MS announces its April sales.

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold 90,523 units in April 2013 in the domestic market. This reflected a growth of 0.3% over April 2012. Total sales in April 2013 were 97,302 units including 6,779 units of exports.

Highlight to note is DZire sales stand at 19446.

Awaiting the official analysis for a complete perspective.

Dzire numbers will still be healthy for next couple of months because Amaze just got launched and Honda can not deliver more than 4000-5000 cars per month. Among this, a good number would be coming from the perspective Jazz/City owners i feel(I might be wrong, with petrol prices falling City might be a better choice than Amaze top end diesel).

Maruti must be happy seeing Honda production capacity crunch and they have a healthy window of 6-8 months to bring something more exciting
