Re: Underglow neon

Hi,

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else already. All my search for "LED FIESTA" threw up links primarily on Fiesta.

Couple of questions:

1. Is it legal to have LED headlights? I do not want to end up paying a fine for this

2. I see a lot of BMWs, Audis having a LED "eye brow". If I had to get this fixed on my Fiesta, what are the pre-cautions I need to take so that fuses don't blow off/battery doesn't get into trouble?

Thanks in advance,
NagaSid

LED Headlights are not yet available easily due to High cost, if you are referring to those white Headlights seen in every city, they are basically H.I.D.
there are H.I.D. available from cheap brands and good brands too.
cheap ones are china made low cost products which may not have any warranty but are cheap.
Expensive ones are Philips, Bosch etc.

L.E.D. light bars which you notice on cars except luxury cars are more over same ones, they are usually double sided tape stick and you can connect them to parking lights or using a separate switch, its best to ask the installer to install a separate fuse for them so it doesn't messes your main fuses should any blunder happens.

I've lots of L.E.D. stuff in my car, but as its mostly D.I.Y. stuff i've used as many fuses as possible so if a L.E.D. shorts it doesn't blows my OEM wiring or fuses.
