I will share a pic of a recently acquired little Triumph Herald in a day or two along with some other little Brit classics which I really loved at first sight and bought.
Now that's interesting, could not wait. If you could reveal the marques that would do for some time.

the scales are tiny because I anyway collect small scales. also no space in the luggage to bring bigger ones back.

got a Jag Mark VII, a Triumph Herald, an Austin Healey, a landrover series 1, an old massey ferguson tractor and a harrods delivery van limited edition. Unfortunately no vintage classics like the bentley blower and so on though I hunted high and low.
will put up the pics tomorrow or late tonight if time permits.

saw many more cars especially in the corgi / vanguard / honrby / hamleys stores and in a few flea markets but all were in the 1:24, 1;18 scale which I dont generally collect anyway - also too big as mentioned before. there were some lovely restored routemaster buses and so on but all way too big.

thanks my friend - even I loved the Herald the minute I saw it. its really superb. however for some reason the stores I went to recently in Ireland and the UK didnt have much stuff in 1:43. They did have an Aston Martin DB5 - but I ve already got that one - and frankly mine (the James Bond one) is better.

In the Tintin shop there I saw some lovely little scale models (die cast metal) of the various cars that come in the Tintin series - while they are amazingly true to life in 1:43 scale they are not working models, but static models. Hence I didnt buy. Was sorely tempted but prudence prevailed.

Bought this 1:24 VW Bettle by Welly, the Quality of welly has increased multifold. Gifted by my wife only for the fabulous blue color. This makes the total beetle count to 10.

I saw this yesterday but didnt pick it up.

@ALL: Do you guys remember I tried the LP670 SV Project? I messed it up, but now I have taken the car apart and done a Respray. The Goal this time is to make a Subtle Lambo and then have some add-ons on it later.

Imagine a Lamborghini mixed with a Renault Megane R26-R mixed with a Fiat 500 Abarth....... Lets see if anyone can crack the color scheme.
