| BHPian | Dear All, Sorry for being late but the memory card in which i had stored the Work in progress snaps got corrupted. so now what i have is new snaps with the fitting done. My Latest Set up: 1. Pioneer HU 5050ub 2. Illusion 6.1 front compos 3. Ground Zero MK2 sub in bass reflex box 4. JBL GTO 937 rear fillers. 5. JBL 75.4 Amp 6. Dyanamo Amp after a lot of r&d and wastage of vitamin M over philips, sony etc i have finally achieved what i really wanted. Mindblowing SQ!! the illusions are the best VFM components that i have heard during my auditions.the sound is very natural and sweet, not bright at all. also the drivers give a nice accurate bass. the tweeters have amazing clarity and dont give the jhankar beats "chan chan" noise at all. i had to put in lot of efforts to put those 6.1 in alto door trim. but the installer did a perfect job by cutting the trim. i used 3 spacers which i screwed tightly to the sheet metal along with the fibre, and voila i dint need any damping. though high bass and high volumes bring in vibrations only in the left front door. will go for damping later on. i replaced the JBL GT5 12" sub by GZ MK2 12" 400 watts rms sub. i was getting a tight punch from jbl. very good vfm. now what i get from GZ MK2 is very sweet punch which is very fast and accurate.there is a total difference in the way the JBL and the GZ sub sounds. the GZ sub operates over a wide range of lower frequencies. presently i am using a bass reflex box and the sub fires well with reverse setting on HU. with normal setting the bass cancels. the JBL 74.4 as we all know is the mightiest amp that was available and does its duty in thousands of cars. i have used this amp to fire the sub over bridged 284 watts rms and the components over the front connections. the dyanamo amp is used to fire the rear JBL gto937 speakers and is quite adequate even if it does not have the frequency settings. Thanks to Ajay who did the settings on the HU and amp. i was finding it very difficult to set those. here goes the snaps : Please excuse for low quality images if any. 1. Illusions. the finishing on the spacers and the grills on the compos are still pending. will get it done soon.

| BHPian | 2. The GZ MK2 sub and the rear speakers. the cloth cover over all the boxes are complete DIY and was very painful to cut the cloth to the dimensions and stick it over the boxes with TEXABOND. spoilt the whole sunday and my room was all dirty.

| BHPian | 3. The JBL and Dyanamo Amp fitted at the back of the rear seat. I bought a big piece of ply covered it with the same cloth and then screwed it to the bars of the rear seat. alto doesnt have sheet metal the the back of the rear seat. both the amps are screwed over the ply.

![]() The car does sound good. The installation was done nicely. Maybe he does it well for good people, and that explains all of MF's miseries. muuhahahahah. Plus the 75.4 is the icing on the cake. Speakers are lucky to get the healthy 100 watts at the price.
