Yes it is a Toyota MR2-S...its what I call a de-volution. A real eye sore of a car, unless of course you modify it until it looks like this

Could you please share some more details of your drive and the car. This must be one hell of a wild machine. Is it 4wd too?

He meant the 'drive' to click pictures. Not actually drive the car.

Deepak - It's a mid-engined RWD car powered by a 5.7L V10 engine.

Is this for sale in Bombay or just on a promotional tour? I couldn't find it on the website. Is this a street version of a LeMan style racing edition?

well i am really not sure where this came out from?
the carrera Gt is not going anywhere but will be in the showromm only, no PWRS for the GT.
And really the comparisons with the MR2 are not acceptable at all.

Surely will take some more good ones at the Porsche World Road Show (PWRS).
It starts from 16th Nov - 23rd Nov @ Amby Valley.
Maybe thats why we thought the CGT is for the PWRS, after reading your first post!

I totally agree. They're leagues apart. But I guess fidaford wanted to just know the brand and model of the MR2 pic he posted, which in his opinion looked like a Porsche.

Well to put some more light on the PWRS (Porsche world road show) -
its only on invitation basis to prospective clients. After paying 25k you can confirm your place and you get to drive almost all the porsche cars (accept the GT) on the air strip all by your self.

The exhausts are awesome. Its designed to look like the exhausts of a fighter aircraft, just that it is smaller.

If anyone wants to listen to the GT growl just do a search in youtube. There are umpteen videos on the GT.

You mean howl/scream ? That's because that V10 is a direct descendant from a racing Porsche.

Whew!! In a selfish way that makes me feel a lot better! I was kicking myself about it when (our misinterpretation made it seem like) you hinted that it might be at the PWRS this year.

Lol. Really.

Here is a car that was being directly compared with the SLR and the Enzo (all 3 were launched within a few months of each other).

I guess not many people know/remember it since it looks fairly blan, but i love it.
