Congrats Swamy---the car looks cool!

I like the new alloys made by Ford---this is their 3rd variety.

I think, the same alloys I bought it sometime back (6th November 2009) from Ford Dealer.
See the photographs - is there any difference?

1 question though, are those glasses really that dark? I agree though that it is adding character to the car.
mayukh, i agree, the fourth one looks cool. Tne glasses are not really that dark and you can actually see through them comfortably. But, since the car was parked in a shade, only the outline had the light and glasses look dark in the photo.

Hi rapideffect, first of all, congratulation on your new S, a wonderful car. The alloys are different in SXi and S as they are different in wheel size as well 14" and 15" respectively.

Congratulations Rapideffect on your 1.6S, haven't seen your ownership thread though. Pls fill in other details such as OTR cost, Colour, dealership/delivery experience etc with compulsory pics.

Name of the Car = Black Panther
OTR= 8.35
Dealer= SC Ford Malad
Pics= Not really captured any pics on camera. Just adding some pics captured on my mobile.

swami, nice camera work. You have made the car look better than what it looks like in person. Where did you get the green air cap? Did you fill nitrogen? My car has a silver/black cap. The green cap looks a little odd. And did you get the darkest shade of sunfilm possible?

rapideffect, congrats! Nice to see yet another S on the forum.

Gilead, hmmm. probably the camera work, yes.. I fill nitrogen and i think this cap was installed by those guys when i changed my tyre OR delivered that way, not sure. But, you are right, better to change it to something, i think there is something available in Chrome/steel itself. Sunfilm on the photo is misleading and i have answered Mayukh in the previous post. They are much lighter.

Happy mile crunching till then, Drive safe.

Wow, another Black Beauty
Why you need to wait for 1500kms running in to give a ownership thread?
Does this mean that you first enjoy the drive for some days and then sit and write the report?

Anyway nice car - you will enjoy driving it
Drive safely!

Nair saab,

It's better to write a report after some days of usage, that's what I feel. Though there's no running in for fiesta, the owner's manual suggest a careful driving till 1500Kms.

@rapideffect: welcome to the Fiesta S club brother!! your black beauty really shines like a diamond. Good pictures from a mobile camera. drive safe and enjoy the bliss!! wait for more pics and test review!!
i was gonna go for the black color initially. It looks stunning in black.. but so difficult to maintain.. esp in a place like delhi. I already had a black car so I know. But it looks so ravishing in black, cant take your eyes off it..
Keep it clean bro, keep it shining!!

Cheers!!!!
