Hi Randeep

You jeep is awesome buddy! Loved it. The Bolero dashboard gives it a very modern look. It just crawls over all obstacles!!

You dad is a great gentleman and I had the honour of him riding with me for a while.

Cheers

Randeep,
Your Jeep has come out very good. Tyres look awesome, Alloys best ever on a Jeep, superior body work, nice sober colour, quality job on seats and rear end looks stunning too.
Well done.

Thanks for the good words.

Allana, Not going for the meters as all meters are working in the main console cluster.

Engine Rebuild

Hi Randeep

yo mentioned a run in period of 1000 kms. Does that mean that you could manage to rebuild the ISUZU 2.4 here in India? How did you manage the cylinder liners, pistons, valves, rings and oil seals for the engine. Were these imported for the rebuild. Or were these interchangeable with the unit on the Tavera ( that again is an ISUZU unit albeit a 2.5 Liter one).

Hi SAE40,

Run in period was not because of engine being overhauled. The Fuel pump and other mechs were overhauled. My Uncle asked me to run it in for 1000 kms just so that everything sets into place just a precautionary reason.

But I could't wait, have been offroading ever since it reached Gurgaon.
BTW the issuzu engines do get overhauled. All seals and other parts are easily available at least in Delhi and Hisar.

Cheers !!!!1
