@khan_sultan: Thanks! This is how i got the jeep from the previous owner. I haven't had the time/resources to change the tires. I'm thinking i'll gift myself a new set on my birthday, which is comfortably far away! Meanwhile, i'm sure the little frog will continue churning whatever comes in it's path.

Hi Motocamp,

Where did you get these Sandgrips from? These are MRFs or Apollos?

BTW I also stay in Pune , do we have enough offroad buddys to got for offroading? I will get my Jeep restored in 1 months time from now.

@ Khan Sultan - Its a custom built FFE good low end to mid range custom made headers. Also i do a lot of long distance in this jeep so cant really afford to cruise @ 80 kmph, because of the light weight engine its pretty competetive in off-roading as well.
Also this jeep was prepared for off-road rallies we use to have in bhopal. Yes these rallies have GPW , Villyz ,CJ3B's and FJ40 competing because of the terrain.
I am preparing another jeep CJ3B with DI Turbo. Will be discussing that in a different thread.

@ vinod_nookala - Thanks

Wickedwheels,
There is something that makes it look totally out of propotion, the flat body and the huge wheels, seats out of sync. Any day I like your Jeep, any day.

Thanks man, Actually the jeep was not complete when we had gone for a test ride. the front windshield was not there and so was the rollcage, the jeep is now complete it really looks good. It looks flat because the bonnet is shaved and the fenders are lifted high to give room for the 35" tyre. ill try and post some recent pictures.

Hi Guys, If you remember my jeep:
(The MM540 / 550 Modifications & Alterations Thread)

Well it has been given a good makeover down to the last fender !
Some work , like refixing doors , roll cage bull bar have to be installed (will like to know where I can buy them / source them in jalandhar)

Some amount of denting painting, and paint finishing (read compounding , polishing etc)

Planning to install red pinstripes on the alloys !

Refilling gas in the Air-con, alignment, some work on the Hydraulic Power Steering and other Knick knacks.

Please guys give your input/ suggestions on the jeep and ways to mod it further.

Here are the pics:

Rahulsingh,
Well doneup jeep, tyres are good, the alloys do not go well though. (check the alloys on Randeep's 550) The indictor lamps on your mudguards used to be on Nissan trucks, I have been looking for them since long, any idea if you can source tow pairs for me? Also get your headlight guards painted to white.
Thanks
