some progress, final coat of paint and 2k lacquer coming up tomorrow on my military green gypsy... few undercoat pics i took yesterday...

The paint job looks neat!!! Waiting to see for the finished product!!

hey guys sorry for the snails pace of replying and updating. Got busy with other things.. But finally went and checked out the gypsy. Paint is finally done. Looks good so far. Lets see next 2 days will be crucial. The best bits are going to start tomorrow onwards!

thanks. I actually update these posts from my phone. I dont get to see the pics when i upload let alone see if they're straight. And i've not come across any posts where the posting pictures rules are stated..this is the first time i got to know about this issue. Next time i'll be more careful. Sorry.

no no you notice right, but thats the cringe on which the matt black side moulding will sit on... so it will be covered.

Be careful. That's and area which is prone to rusting as there are 2 layers of metal which are exposed to the elements. Also as this is covered by the plastic cladding it does not dry off quickly hence the tendency to rust. Suggest you check it carefully for rust again.

That's a dashing colour. As SirAlec suggested good set of tyres, preferably AT/R of 215 75 R 15 will give macho look

yes changing the tires to 225/75-15 Goodyear Wrangler or Yoko Geolandars, 2 big fogs/driving lights rally style up front, one hand held halogen hunting light, jerry can, etc

i have them on my pickup they are 225/75-15 good year wrangler, 2 are made in thailand and 2 are made in INDIA!! both have the same exact pattern though... some more updates from today..need a new windscreen guys..where to get in kolkatta? see her glistening in the sun!!!!
