Harjeev, anytime man, now the bug is in me i will keep telling options.
Yes they were about the Willyx pictures not the CL340, which besides the Classic stickering looks stock.

The reason why i said grab it is -
1. Besides stickering it looks stock
2. Not much of body work visible
3. Engine looks clean
4. Cj 340 awsome off road
5. 1.20 lakhs for a working SWB is a good deal. I have seen junks going at that price!

regards

Dear Yogesh,

As bigman says, get it checked by a mechanic and if the engine, gearbox etc is working all right grab the CL340.

It will be a easy life as the parts are easily available so are the mechanics

I think that if anyone is searching for jeeps, jaipur has to be one of the places to search and look around
Dear Harjeev,

There is a CL 340 available, in Dark Green colour, its a UP registered Jeep.

I have the pics in the mobile if you want i can email them to you. It is in working condition. No bodywork needed, just a bit a work here there in the engine. I did not test drive it much so cant say completely. but did start it to check the engine noise.

My pockets... actually the garage is full
But you are tempting me....

Just kidding man.. If I even dream of buying the 4th jeep I will have to buy a house first.
Can you believe something. My dad thinks that the 1965 WILLYS LHD belongs to a friend of mine and he has parked at my house...

But pass me the info. there's a friend who is on the lookout for a SWB either petrol or diesel.
Mail me the pics and I will pass on the info.
Cheers

You are on for CHD, Right???

You are more than welcome to park it in our garage in Haryana. We will take good care of any new additions to the Harjeev vehicle collection. I would have been up for the CJ340 myself if I was over in India. I don't fancy asking my dad to travel to Jaipur.

Hey satnam,
I have a better proposition.
You send me the moolah and I will buy the 340, overhaul it and take care of it for you. And when you land in Delhi later this year I will be there at the arrival lounge with garlands, coconut, pooja thali etc etc
Before you get ideas
not for you
but for the CL340

Whats say???

Hey Amit,
If Yogesh is not interested in this one, do you mind sharing some info about this jeep with me. I have also been searching for a CJ340 for quite some time now, but only around Bangalore. Could not find any. So, if you think that this jeep is good, i would love to adopt it.
Thank you very miuch buddy.
Cheers,
Deepak

Bought and mini OTR

Hey guys, bought the CL-340. There were few issues like electricals, handbrake etc the works to be done which Alfa found out but finally we decided that it is a good buy and we shall go with it. Here are few pics. Then we took it for a Mini OTR and tasted its power see Video. It was loose sand so it got stuck also but not bad for newlly aquired jeep.

This is the final when we came out or track, it was a broken boundry wall with huge stones lying around.

AWESOME...

With those tyres, what you managed is quite good.

Get rid of those CLASSIC lettering on the sides first.

Again congrats on a great buy.

Awesome Yogesh. Really happy for you. Have fun.
I should say that you are really lucky, in a span of one week flat, you have bought yourself a very nice Jeep.
Happy Jeeping.
Cheers,
Deepak

That's FAST. Great man. Congrats and wishing you happy jeeping and get ready for a 'wonderful and engaging' relationship with your newly acquired jeep.

PS: As mentioned by SpitFire, get rid of the CLASSIC sticker.
