Thanks guys! A lot of time and effort went into it. The ride is really good and actually is very un-jeep like!! I need to fit large rear view mirrors and my winch. After that some rock climbing.

What wheel arches are you using? I went the other day looking for a set for my 540 but couldn't find them. Is there another Mahindra model from which I could fit those on my jeep?
Cheers,
Adi
The wheel arches are army 550 front and rear fenders. I got them from Mumbai.

Beboy,
Great job. I remember you were targeting completetion before last years palar and ima happy you are well ahead of the scheduled date. Your jeep looks purposeful and capable of slininging some huge dust!

Waiting to see that beast in action

When your budget and time permits do think of putting some really aggressive looking tyres. It will complete the Jeep!

Smashing

Hi Beboy,

Your JEEP Looks smashing, just add a matt finish insect screen/brush guard, or on in brushed aluminium.

the Wheel Wells are looking empty :(

wrt Tyre Height

for 31" its 4.88 (MM550XD)

For 34 it is 34/31 X 4.88 = 5.35:1 (Petrol CJ3B)

Regards,

Arka

You could use the wheel arches(or fender fairings, rather) from the Mahindra Pik-up. It's a direct fit

Hi, jyobeb, your MM550 has come out very well . Please do update with some engine-bay and underside pics. Also, how is the off-roadability now? any off-roading trials done? Please do post pics of the same.

Jyobeb I have a serious doubt.

You have upgraded the MM5*0 with an scorpio engine, what about the brake upgrade ? i think the stock ones will not be sufficient.

and BTW which engine is this ? the old or the latest version ...

I am using Bolero aggregates and hence stopping power is enough. Top speed is not much as this is geared lower.
