Dust getting where? On the radiator, can be taken care with a simple pressure wash at service. From the looks of it the bumper is blocking the whole of lower radiator, so free up the air flow for better cooling.

Thats a Good idea but, pressure wash in that region is a difficult thing to do because what you see there is not the radiator, its the condenser. The radiator and condenser are so close together that doing a pressure wash in there will be difficult. But i dont think i have a choice.

I was planning to do some ducting like a CAI to the gap between the condenser and radiator. But now that you have sparked the idea to free up the air flow in the bumber region, cutting a slot on the bumper with a covering mesh sounds like a good idea to me. What say?

Perfect, this should help.

Dont worry about pressure wash, it will take care of the cleaning up, even if you have ac grill in front of the radiator. Wire mesh will take care of protection from bigger elements.

Ok so the next thing is going to be cutting slots in the metal bumper for better air flow.(will cover it with a wire mesh) Just need to make sure that it looks good.

Guys i am told by many people that the stock gypsy king carb is not the best once can have. Most people suggest that the esteem carb should be used for better performance in terms of FE, pickup and topend. What say??

Nothing wrong in gypsy carb. Get it once overhauled and be with it. Esteem carb may give FE but not pickup and topend.

You can tune mechanical carb to your choice, mileage or performnce , but not both. Which you can do tuning in gypsy carb itself.

M800 can do ladakh now. Would you doubt your gypsy carb for performance. Do not heed much to advice on changing carb

Thanx a lot for your inputs, just what i was hoping to get as a response.

I am sure that the gypsy can do Ladakh, but i want it to do it in the most efficient manner. Also its not only abt Ladakh, looking at a bigger picture of owning a car i would want it to perform at its optimum best.

One advice. Take chd bypass. The cops there will give you lot of grief for your fogs which are above headlight level.
