Nicely documented. Good going friend!
Another thing I forgot to tell you is that the oil filter will foul with the steering link rod. You will have to use a smaller filter (Isuzu).

Impressive but if you are going with such an engine then why so simple mod?
May be you will land up doing something really amazing, but still try something different..
BY THE WAY IS THIS FOR YOUR OWN OR CUSTOMER'S DEMAND?

Reading about all these nice (wonderful is more apt) builds, gets me all worked up & I WANT to own one such off road monster.

Being totally unaware of this side of the automotive world, may I ask what a 550 with a Scorpio Engine & the works cost ??

Very interesting thread !! All the best for your build

Cheers

Are the BA10 and the NGT 530 equal in length? From pictures though, it does not appear so.

Allan, i don't know if you realized, but you hit a jackpot with that Borg Warner Manual TC. Now you can have OEM Fully floating rear axle from Bolero without tampering your prop shaft angle!!!! Same goes for front axle also. How did you source it? You are second one who has this TC after Jyobeb!!! All MWB Jeeps are handicaped for a FFRA only because of that offset rear differential (Unless you do some modifications).

Thanks

sree,
most of our fully floating rear axles comes with 19 spline
diff locks for this is very difficult to source

i might retain the semi floating axle for now but get the diff shifted to the left offcentre as compared to where it is now(right)
i have a 30 spline difflock lying, and im dying to use it

sourced these throught a lot of finding and calls

Allan if you are talking about Manual Diff lock like Gurkha, i agree with your point. I am really skeptical about lockers in semi floating axels. Considering you have a military axle, it should be better, i heard they are much stronger than Civilian ones.

Second point, instead of shifting your diff to left, why don't you use a T-18 transfer case (I know its old tech)? I have a T-18 mated to BA-10 in my Jeep.

Thanks

And to further clarify, Sree's jeep is a MM550 (like yours).
