Yes Jaggu had a great time and realized why Jeepers go through all that is thrown at them Its for those few moments that all the hardwork is done!

Just an observation, why don't you change the orange lights under the headlights into white spotlights as right now you seem to be having two pairs of indicators.
AVR, you are correct. I too am planning such a change. I have those white spot lights with me already. I guess its a good idea. Thanks.

Doctor,
Your Jeep looks great Congratulations . I think the Thar/pik-up type front fender flares looks/suits well on the MM540 rather than the army fender.

@ Santosh: Thanks a lot for posting those videos mate.
@ Sreejesh: Thank you. You are right about that. I too feel that a 235 tyre looks a tad smaller for those huge fender flares. BTW, is the pik-up fender a direct fit on the MM 540?

It is a direct fit to mm540. I think there is two type of front fender flares comes on the pik-up one is with cut at the front like the thar CRDi and other one is fully covered up to the end of the fender flare I am not sure about this but It will be a direct fit.

Re: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde- From Doctor to Jeeper

Santosh you are a real help! For the tome being im only getting a four point RC done as im quite stuck up about my foot being at ease. Also, having the front RC means interference with dash removal. So will plan that after the Examm and AKC and then carry out a design which will not hinder my foot nor the removal and fitting of the dashboard whenever needed. Still please keep the pics coming as i will get the front part done sometime in the future.

The one fender which is cut at the front has also come on Armada, they are now fitted to the pickup trucks but I've tried to get those but couldn't get only the front because the dealer said they come as a set of 4 pcs and the rear one wouldn't fit MM540/550 because they are half round shaped.

Re: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde- From Doctor to Jeeper

@ Santosh, Thanks a lot for updating the thread with the latest pics. I guess we can enjoy the drive to Lonavala with the windshield down..provided the Snorkel does not play spoilsport!!

@ Gogi Bhai, This Jeep build would not have been possible without Santosh. All thanks to his sincere and selfless help. (I guess the word thanks does not make Justice). I just love this forum!

@ Chanu, Thanks for that info. I will stick on to my present fender extensions for now they seem to be doing the job well and I have somehow grown to like it too.

Isnt the front right anchor point for roll cage too close to the accelerator pedal? Wont it foul with larger size footwear?

LOL!! That was a good one!! Also we have done one more off-roading mod. We have changed the location of fuel tank to below the passenger seat. For that we had to fabricate a new passenger seat frame and make a vent in the body

Re: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde- From Doctor to Jeeper

Bhpians,
A recent update. Got the soft-top done for my Jeep and also the seat covers and Side facing benches on the wheel arches. The front-facing rear seat is being altered to accommodate for rear-view. Will post pics of that later.
For now, this is the present status of my Jeep.
