It seems the format of the VIN number has changed, hence unable to find the manufacturing date. Could you please help.

Hey Wildon, Can you please decode the VIN:MA1YL2HJUC6K85795 in detail? i am yet to get the delivery of it. I think its Oct' 2012 manufactured after referring to this thread. but will be great if you can provide more details.

I went to the RTO earlier today to complete the registeration formalities. This is the VIN that was etched inside the bonnet. I hope this is it

Can you please decode the same?
