DB Drag hapopens in Mumbai, Bangalore and I think also in Chennai and Delhi.
Dates are mostly between Oct to January , different zones in different cities.
Last DB Drag in Bangalore was in November 2005

Hmm...

Guys as I've mentioned earlier... the Baracudda is strictly an SQ install. It does great SQL. Its not an SPL setup. Also, dB Drag rules dont allow anything over 18" (last time I checked)

Also, there may be some misconceptions re the dB Drag. There are specific categories based on number of subs, size, power etc. For example a setup like LBMs can compete in the Street B Class NOT in Street A Class. Similarly there are several other categories.

I dont know if the India version of the Drag follows the US rules though.

What gunbir said is right. But there can be larger woofer can be used in the monster class as I did not see any restriction there. but for all the other classes 18 inches is the limit. About the barracuda ever time when discussed in this fourm it is discussed as a spl vehicle only. Now dont go after this one gunbir

Go after what??? that post is clearly about damping the Octavia. The Octavias C pillars do have a tendency to flex. As for the Baracudda being an SPL setup, I have clearly mentioned in the main Baracudda thread that its an SQL setup and not an SPL setup. Of course, It gets pretty loud, but its a clean, musical loud...

If we ever actually do a hardcore competition grade SPL setup, we will CALL it an SPL setup. So guys, you are yet to see an SPL setup from us...

The issue here at hand is not really SPL or SQ... its your personal problem with Gunbir.

LBM, its time to crush your ego and grow up, stop the personal attacks.
