Just changing the head-unit isn't going to drastically enhance your listening experience. Though the 6850 will give you the ability to control your sub better than the JVC.

I think the Pioneer 800W that you mention is a DVC. If you aren't doing this already, try driving the 6x9s just off the rear channels of the head unit, and use the bridged outputs of the Sony amp to dedicatedly drive your sub. And maybe get a front component set at some later time. Then you can get a monoblock for the sub, and use the 4 channel to drive all 4 speakers. Add some nice snazzy cables, and you're ready to rock.

Well almost, cos then we'd express displeasure about your sub and rear speakers and then you could go out and change them too. At the end of it all, we'd all be a very satisfied bunch of blokes here at the community to have relieved someone of a ****load of cash, all in the name of gratifying car audio.

P.S. You don't have to take everything I say around here very seriously. No one does, and it's been better for them that way.

That's a really nice writeup bass & Trouble, Liked it very much.

I have bridged the channels right now.. so it drives the sub as well as the speakers, I just completed a reinstall from audiofusion in bangalore, Got custom enclosures for the speakers and ported enclosure for the sub, the cabling has been changed with the fuse. Really neat stuff. No vibrations at all

Jk, What was the RPM meter about????

Can you change the dolphins to something else in a 6850?? Also do you think I should drive my 6*9's direct from the HU and buy two component speakers and drive them using the amp??

which car?

6k compos + 5k amp +2k instal (and rca ) = 13k max

u can get it done within 10k if u can source a good amp for less tahn 4k. Good RCA woudl cost 750/cable. Maybe you may need only one.
