Yeah, I've installed a lot of 5.25"/ 6.5" speakers in Xings with a 0.75" inch thick MDF spacer. Although painful, it isn't possible to get the speakers in there without cutting some metal.

Wow; can you please please post some pix. And if possible step by step. And how can I get thsoe MDF rings made? And can you courier it to me @ a price if possible.

I was told taht coz the power window motor exists somewher tehr; it cant be done. Maybe I should try my hands at this myself.

I know 3-4 people who would haev teh same opinion here at TBHP

Thanx Car touch for the reply, i will keep ur no. updated on my cell.

The Good News is i got all my ICE problem solved yesterday by adding a 6" Morel Pulse Coaxl, JBL CS60.4 Amp, JBL CS60.2 & Complete Wiring changed from a JBL Authorised Dealer.

Now my ICE consist of

HU - Pioneer 6850
Front - Pioneer Tweeter with 4" JBL Front Speaker
Front Door Panel - 6" Morel Pulse Coaxl connected thru JBL CS60.4 Amplifier
Rear - JBL T595 Limited - 15 x 24cm (6"x9") 3-Way Multi-Element connected thru JBL CS60.4 Amplifier
Rear - JBL 1000Watts Base Tube connected thru JBL CS60.2 Amplifier
Wiring Used - 2 Monster Audio Cable Kit & JBL RCA Cables

Will post some pix soon...

and the 4inch and tweeters run by HU and sub from teh 60.2?

and why a co-ax.

was it a cut and fix using MDF ring job? And wont you be having lot of trebble at the frnt ?

Ya it was cut and fix using MDF ring job.

I was gettin more treble whn i put the JBL 6" Components then the Installer just connected the Morel 6" Coaxl with this i was gettin less of treble and more of bass and mids in the fronts which i needed the most.
