Require experts suggetions

Hi Bass&Trouble,

As you said can you suggest me any good 4" speakers which gives better midrange quality than 6.5" speakers. Coz still I dont want to cut the door pads of my new car. I will chwck for that and i'll buy that only. Today I checked the prices in Grey Market for ICE setup.

HU - Pioneer 6850 - Rs.8700
Front - JBL GTO607c 6.5" components - Rs. 4950
Rear - Infinity Reference 9613I 6"x9" spkr - Rs.4800

Will infinity reference9613I is better than JBL GTO937. Coz with bill JBL costing Rs.4950. Please suggest as i am planing to get it done this week.

He didnt quite say that 4" has better midrange than 6".
There is nor hard and fast rule to this, if you compare 2 specific items then you will get possible answers.

thinks that a grey market price. The 6x9 would give good bass. A 5.25 at rear would be teh better option if you would get a sub later and also, using a 5.25' at back means no to MDF.

check this http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-en...k-25k-30k.html

Hi Sunil,

I think you're looking good there with the products you have chosen. Maybe you can ask Sam if the smaller drivers from the GTO series have better midrange qualitites, or perhaps you could upgrade to Infinity Reference for the fronts too. Personally, I quite like the Infinity over the JBLs.

Hi Friends

After all discussion had with u great-guys, I got installed following ICE setup for my Santro Xing.
HU - Pioneer 6850 -(Rs.9000) Grey
Front spk - JBL GTO426e (Rs.2500) B&W
Rear spk - Infinity Reference 9613i 3 way (Rs.4400) Grey
Some how i could'nt convince my-self to cut the front door pad to put 6.5" component. So I went and installed 4" speakers. But its awsome. The Infinity speakers are excelent and I dont need a sub. The SQ is fentastic and I very happy about me ICE setup. All the credit goes to you GREAT CHAMPS. Thanks a ton for all ur suggestions.
Regards,
Sunil
