So when i had put Blaupunkt GT coaxials in the rear, I had put a JBL GTO636e grill on it. She was ekdum thrilled. Told everyone I had put a full JBL system for her.

Then one day, a few months later she opened the grill to clean the speaker and saw the tweeter inside with the blaupunkt logo and the blue dot.

How i suffered after that, O my brothers....
I can imagine that... mebbe it's time you take up some martial art for self defense...

You can go for Sony 7710S. It has 3, 4V pre-outs and is overall a decent system. And it will fit your budget.

First of all you're a lucky guy.
You have a girl who can appreciate money spent on ICE (Only one in a hundred thousand does that).

I am confused here! SAM actually asking help for car audio?? Man isn't he the GURU of gurus?? Just cant believe my eyes. Ok That's what this forum is for right??!! Sorry for that confusion man!

I think you should opt for a Clarion DXZ468RMP.
But dont expect a beautiful face. But it'll give you some nice sound output. (I've heard some similar clarions in Dubai). I'm not sure of the prices here but I think it's better to get it from EAST or MIddle EAST (But India is the Best! ).

Dont count those stupid words like : Dump her, change her etc... I serously think you're a lucky guy! Yes! I repeat it. Or ask KB100!!

Firstly I'm not even a Guru, leave alone guro of gurus

Secondly I dont know much about HU's. And you are absolutely, this is a forum, not a classroom, there are no teachers and no students here, just a bunch of madmen who love ICE and have fun.(You'll love the ICE, I have the fun)

Now I think the choices are between an alpine 9843 and a clarion 386. Alpine accessible to me in Bangy and Clarion at Delhi. So..Any ideas?

clarion it is....and speedzak take a bow!

http://www.clarion.com/sg/en/newstop..._01/index.html

either the 366/368 or 466/468. whichever fits your needs and budget. Personally I love the specs on the HX D2. However untill "uncle" KB gifts me one I wont get to hear one (till I get to a CES that is) but the 766 would be adequate fo poor boys like me.

I'll go for Clarion468. But that ALPINE will give more of boasting capabilities I think.
BTW, 9843 the cheapest MP3 HU from alpine! Does your GF know that??

Hey,

Maybe I can come to Sam's rescue. How fast do you need it. If you can give me some time I can source a 9835 at a good price for you.
