What is the value declared. I hope its not something like 5$ or something. Anyways, you have to go to foreign post office. You do not need import license for personal imports.

Thanks. I went to foreign post office today morning. They asked me to ignore those remarks & said that those remarks mean that the customs has cleared the item and it'll be delivered thro' nearest post office to me since foreign post office can't deliver it directly.

The seller is a reference taken from this thread - Puhui Electronics, Aliexpress and while he has not mentioned the value declared, I guess it should be $19-$20 because that's what we discussed while ordering

M10 with complete mount is kind of screaming out to onlookers - look at me! Today I tried to mount it just behind the IRVM - removed the mount completely and stuck it on with just 2 rubber bands. The coverage area is pretty good - with the IRVM adjusted for me (not the cam).

This kind of makes it stealth looking and it is hardly visible from the outside. Sorry couldn't take a pic this morning, will do this evening. Here is the coverage though -


Now to find an elegant way of doing this without the rubber bands.

On another note, anyone tried fitting a CPL to reduce the dashboard glare?

It does the job, keeps the cam working but sadly the output is almost halved by the time it reaches the cam. End result is the cam doesn't get charged. As soon as you remove it from the power and try to switch it on, it dies.

I have tested it by connecting with the regular cable and that seems to charge the cam as well. On the lookout for a better cable or better routing option.

The amazon seller did have a 3m version as well, not sure if that will be any better.

Where did you get the info on exactly when is it coming?

My seller seems to have put ~$40 as the value. Cons of not instructing him beforehand.

I'm in continuous touch with Mumbai Foreign Post Office, calling them regularly. Even went there personally day before. I was told that customs has cleared it on 19th May and I should get it in 1-2 days. Then Y'day I was told that I'll get it today and the duty could be Rs. 1,275/-.

However, I've not received it today. Though the status on ipswebtracking got updated today afternoon that it's now being sent to the post office in my area. Hopefully, I should get it tomorrow or on Monday

Got my SJ4000 WiFi today morning. Local Post Office is fast, they received it today morning itself and delivered to me by 11 am.

Though the seller declared it as a gift with a value of $19, customs has considered value as Rs. 3000 and applied 41.xxx% duty amounting to Rs. 1275/-
