Mine says sd2-Suzuki-SLN_IND_Update v11. Can someone help out whether any update is required since logically v11 is > v9 however on the website it sshows latest version as v9

It is the stock version I did not get it from ANYWHERE but the car showroom itself.

MapCare Valid Until:12/10/2020
[This date may be applicable for my car VIN and serial #]

What does this mean? I will not get updates beyond this date? Anyone knows any alternative / paid services after that?

Faced the same problem initially, since I was copying the VIN number from RC card which had a typo! The digit '1' was incorrectly noted as letter 'I' on the RC. I was able to download once I realized this, after cross checking against the VIN written on the vehicle door panel. Double check the VIN number on the vehicle - specifically double-check digits like '0' or '1'.

Can someone let me know if the versions "sd2-Suzuki-SLN-IND_Update_v9" and "sd2-Suzuki-SLN_SOP_IND_2014Q2 v9" are same or different. The first one is the version available on the website and the second one is what I got. Though the nomenclature is different, "v9" makes me wonder if I have got the latest version. My car is close to an year old and hence, there could be an update?

I think both are same. There is no update since April. Maruti should update the Map every 3 months

Do get this corrected from the dealer, because in case of an insurance claim, you will have a hard time. Typo in the RC is a royal pain.

Seen the Smartplay System in the Ignis in one of the review and Android Auto was present, so the old users like us should expect an Update any time now

Is there any news on Android Auto for the Smartplay system. I checked this with the SA during the test drive, and he told me that Maruti is working on the same. Soon, there should be an update to have Android Auto. Another point to note is that, Maruti will update the existing systems too.
