Blau is not at all bad. The Thc and ODc series are quite good. However as a rule you should listen to speakers before you buy them including other brands like JBL etc..

There is indeed some bass, but its not sufficient to make one happy. I was too surprised that it actually produced some when you think its real bad speakers. Would love to see how they perform if amped but then I wont be using them when I upgrade.
