ICE for Indigo Marina

Hi, been reading a lot of the ICE advise here and I am totally confused though I have tried to make sense out of it thanks to a lot of tech speak made easy.
My requirements :
1. Clear sound, mainly listen to soft country songs kinda stuff but definately do not pump up the volume even with fats tracks.
2. I plan to attach a roof mounted tft screen to the system, so the HU needs to play atleast VCD's and MP3.
3. Would like to have a USB port on the HU for the pendrives like the one they have on my Scorpio kenwood HU.
4. If not possible on the main HU I would like to attach a DVD player available on the customs shop here in delhi for about Rs 3500 or so, it says panasonic on the box but I am not too sure.
Budget is around 20K max.
Maybe i can develop it slowely and keep adding things by the month.
Please advise.

I have gone through the threads, though they are informative but seem to be offerring a solution for an existing ICE. They talk about the front coaxials and the the rear ovals what about the dash mounted slots in Marina? What do you fit into those?
Guru's I need help from the scratch...I know nothing about this stuff so it has to be in simple english one I am able to understand. The rear slots are on the sides now, on the quarter panel mounted just below the rear window sill of the marina and not on the hatch.

Been doing some more reading around here...how important is it to have an amp if all i need to run are the 2 front door mounted 5.25- 6 " compos with 2 4" 2 way in the dash? Can i have the set up as following:-
1. HU with MP3/DVD/USB/DIVx
2. Compo JBL GTO CS 2165c or GTO-607c
3. JBL 4" 2 way in the dash.
No rear speakers..
Do I need an amp for the above set up? Can i connect a desi screen to the HU in the above set up?
Any good installer in Delhi..also does the price vary according to his location, if yes whats the best place to have it installed and who is a good installer there?
Please all the bhpians and the ICE gurus would appreciate your comments.

Not necessary but this is what i gleamed from the threads that it would give me a better music quality up front as most of the driving will be done from the front seat, can add more to the rear as well but if adding top the rear gives better music all round will add there first. I am open to all suggestions..

why not have a pir of 6x9 in the rear for some bass instead of the 4" coax in the front.

if you find yourself pushing your HU's volume control beyond the half way mark you need an amp. otherwise no need.

Ok so the final set up can be like
1. A decent HU which plays DVD/DIVx/MP3 etc
2. JBL loudspeakers/ Compos in the front door. (Which ones sud i go in for?)
3. JBL (??) 6 X 9 for the rears.

Please let me know about the compos or otherwise for the front doors..?

JBL compos that fit in the front doors can be either the 507 ot 607. the 607 will produce a bit more bass. the 507 might fit easier.

I have finally zeroed in on the following:-
1. JVC-KD/DV/7306(USB port) or a 5306(w/o USB port).
2. JBL Compos for the front door.
3. A desi roof mounted TFT screen for now.
The car comes prewired for the speakers. Should I use them or get a new set of wires?

For the time being, the pre-wired harness should serve the purpose. Just ensure that the installer uses connectors to mate with the pre-wired harness connectors, instead of chopping them out and twisting wires. Check if the dealer can give you the harness adapter for JVC HU and Marina. Ask the showroom guys who can give you that.

You will need to wire the 'desi' screen separately, though, unless Tata has made a provision for that.

Please forgive me for sounding naive but 2 queries..
1. Is harness adapter necessary? What purpose does it fulfill?
2. Will it be available with the TATA dealer or the dealer I will be approaching for the fitment is "Driven", would he be having it? In case he doesnt can it be sourced?
