Who said I am the best? And if I were using Soliwax, I'd know where the carton is . Soliwax is for people with lot of hair growth around their ears a la Zak and Shrivz .

Yes, now it is not bright at all. It is just right. I like the way Souljah has gone through the whole process in a phased manner.
Thanks man. I did tell you something was not right na? Finally got time to check the crossover and therein lied the folly.

Iv reverted to the factory setting now (0db) and immediately it seems right. Someone even put the idea in my head that the comps might have been damaged

Personal hygiene is a must, not only ears. Just ask the wimminz

Thanks yash! Yes no rear fills, the money was allocated to better front drivers and wiring. Though this is no where close to the LBM way, hehe.

My way is only SPL and lots of it. And in my car the fronts does a very good job so no need for the speakers in the rear.

Hey guys after nearly a month of not having ICE in the car everything is back on track again. Setup had been disconnected due to some complications.

Anyway last weekend while re-connecting the rig I also chucked in the GZ -TW Sub in a 1cu ft sealed enclosure and setoff on my 350km drive. With the HPF at 80 on the HU everything integrates well and one cannot really tell the presence of the Subbie.

Im reasonably satisfied with it, not insanely powerful or anything but I think in the long run this is optimal as listening fatigue wont set in

I had damped the hatch a few weeks back when I found the time, will post pics. Still a lot of spots to be tackled. Some more emerging from the front doors. Got about 10sq ft of noise kill left over for Rattle Battle!

This setup is now more or less complete, I dont see the need for rear fills at the moment.

This fellow's ICE sounds good, though I don't know much. Laid back, good for rock, very clear mids and vocals (is that what they're called) and we made someone dance the Moonwalk and crotch grab to Beat It, and it looked pretty authentic.

I think if you get sa1nik style audio and a good copy of MJ's greatest hits, you could make your own cheap music video.

Thanks guys. Amey bhaiya yes the Lucents do impress as they perform well for multiple genre's.

Recently had wired up a setup for a moron guy, jbl 507+937 + sony 504.

Id tuned the setup but it wasnt to his satisfaction so finally it runs now with the Loud feature on at medium, bass at +4 and treble at +3 and he is overjoyed.

Guy was absolutely surprised when he heard my setup... Didnt like it at all cos it wasnt loud and there was no bass or treble

s0uljah's setup is so good that i didnt want to go for speakers other than luccent.. after listening to them for few mins.
And i did get them .. and now am happy ..
But have to say, his setup sounded too good with an amp and sub..

I listened to atlas ? speakers as well,.. it was too loud for me.
And he explained things well ..
Luccent i felt are good to hear light rock / instrumentals and vocals...

thanks dude..

Pioneer HU
Illusion Luccent (LM 6.1 Components)
JBL GTO 75.4 Amplifier
GZ-TW 12"
8GA Scosche Amplifier Wiring Kit & RCA's, OEM Wiring Harness.
50 Sq ft damping
Install bye Ev0
Sorry I missed this earlier.

Worked out to about 45k, but I got some very generous discounts thanks to Bust&Stubble aka Ajay and Satya

A HU upgrade is now in order. Also its time again for checking the panels. I need to take a day or to and attack all the plastic trims etc with some damping.

Amey has offered to sponsor me a new Steg amp too!!

Hmm, I wasn't aware of this.

While he's on this Steg buying spree, please ask him if he can get one for me too? I'm planning on getting a car.

At your budget, you either get a car or a Steg.
