Kya lbm,

you are saying, its a jugaar? Maybe, for you it is but ask some one who needs the full boot space. A person who is married, has kids and owns just one car and is an audio lover.

cheers

And all the above rating are at 11 volts.

Heh yes I wonder what happens at 14.4v with 30% more power over 11v.

Phaji I am trying to say that a good music lover will never go for this type of setup. He would prefer a sealed enclosure any day. As this type of setup cannot produce desired SQ + SPL for any good music lover. If he wants the boot for famliy he will remove the enlcosure from the boot. Simple.

Have you auditioned flying bongs cedia? i would rate it as one of the best setups i have ever heard. It is a free air install with an IDQ sub.

anyways lets not go OT. lets just discuss the topic at hand.

cheers

I did not understand what this means.

Do you mean to ask what power output the amp will have at 14.4V? It will be the exact same as at 11V maintaining same THD levels.

I'm sure you didn't take Navin's Boss quip too seriously.

The two major difference. First the baffle is loose in case of SWWS and second is the volume of air behind both of them. Both are IB installs. But I would consider FB`s correct.

Umm... difference in volume of air? its Infinite Baffle bro... I-N-F-I-N-I-T-E

BTW, If I'm right, you haven't heard either of those cars. Both are well installed IB setups. The only reason the SWWS works slightly less than desired in that Santro is the lack of midbass from the stock size speakers. No fault of the IB setup.

Hmm I-N-F-I-N-I-T-E

Nice way to type.

In the case of SWWS install the air behind the sub is limited as compared to as of FB`s car. There is nearly 300-400 liters of space. How much do we get in SWWS. Not more that 30-40 liters. Then I would not consider it as IB install I would consider it as a very leaky sealed box which could not produce the required SQ + SPL.

You are correct I have not heard both the cars. But I have tried the SWWS myself and I had two 12 inch subs in my esteem rear deck installed as IB. So I know how does a IB install sound

Cheers

Good Night.

How big are the stock speakers? 5"? a well installed 5" speaker (the santro's stock location is poor but can be modified -think FRP- to provide a proper box for the rar speaker) should be able to reproduce 100Hz.

Now I have not heard a SWWS in depth so I wont comment other than saying that Gunbir, LBM does have a point - how do we clamp the baffle of the SWWS so that it is not loose and still give access to the spare without a lot of effort? As it is the SWWS baffle means that to get the spare out once needs to lift about 15kgs. My wife cant do that.

Gunbir sir, the Santro install is not Infinite Baffle. You have a large front baffle, but the air space behind it is not comparable to that in IB scenario.
