I wanted to upgrade my subwoofer to take maximum juice of my amplifier(300w into 2 ohm load). which is better buy blaupunkt velocity Vw1200 (5.5k) or JBL GT5-S12(3k)?

There seems to be new JBL CS1215 (2.8k) instead of GT5-S12 but looks like downgraded one with respect to power and frequency response, can anybody help in this regard.

I auditioned pioneer 1400w dvc sub (3.5k) but it was horrible compared to my present puny 150w rockford. Dont know if my amplifier output was sufficient to drive it but there is no amplifier upgrade possible.
