I always felt and still do believe that Audison makes some of the best amps in the world.
The only sad part was that I could never audition them in Mumbai, else, I may have installed the VX in place of the Steg's in at least 1 of my cars !!!!
Not good to have saven eggs from the same chicken in 1 basket ???

You will need to get a 'top end' amplifier for the top notch Rainbow Audio products.
Mr B you can always use the Rainbow iPauls amps or TRU techs which are both superb amplifers. I myself have A/b ed genesis/audiosn/True tech's and all are a class unto themsleves. Having also heard the iPauls with Rainbow speakers abroad I can vouch for there excellent build and sound quality.

Sir,

Audison is a big brand and is one one the Best Car Amplifier makers.
The Thesis is a referance level amplifier. It is on my 'lust list'
This is a 'serious' and 'big' brand at the same time.

One cannot compare it to Polk / JBL / Boston.
Those are entry level to mid fi at best !
This is Mid-Fi to Hi-Fi ! Referance Territory; sure.
Serious Car Audio !!

Sir, my knowledge in Car Hi-Fi is rather limited. I do not know much.
I have not auditioned any of the above mentioned products.

From the list that you have attached, I Like Luxman a lot [really great] & McIntosh is famous, but I do not like thier sound. Milbert & Musee I have not heard.

Is this the same Luxman that made tube amps in the 70s. My aunt has a 34 pre amp and 68c power amp.

Sir, how can you include an amp that you are "not too sure" about in your top amps list?

Do you mean this is your drool list? For which the Steg would have to be Masterstrokes only, since you have everything else.

Plus, you have named 6 brands in top 5.

sorry for the double post..
but check out the link i have posted...
The person is switching from Audison LRX 5.1 amps to the Tru-tech's. His Dyna-Audio comps are sounding Much better according to him.
And they have been Compared to the Dual mono's from Genesis and some people have said they are better...
That is the only reason i have posted this in the TOP ICE amps thread. They certainly deserve to be here.
Personally... id take my bets with these guys over steg, audison etc. Especially on the the performace to price equation. They have just about all the amps beat according to me.
But thats just me and i dont know much lol lol
