Re: ICE the Beast

This is where the story actually started. The only thing I had to do was remove all stuff and put it back after damping, new wires.

My Moroccan installer ! Mr. Pico.

Re: ICE the Beast

An install without any issue? Cant be!

The DLS is heavy and big for a 6.5incher. It was fitted with just one spacer initially. Thanks to the depth it needed,it was hitting the window glass! So another spacer was added for it.

After exra spacer was added.

Re: ICE the Beast

Excellent work. I got my Vento Iced at jerrys, although a budget install. Excellent very professional work by Jerry and his crew, especially shajas and Pico. Guided me correctly to exactly what i needed in my budget and my specs.
I was suggested a mono and a sub as well but space constraints. I would love to audition your Beast one day.

O.T .A very neat install and so far no issues. I had promised jerry a review, but I havent been able to do that, caught up with loads of work. @ jerry if u are reading this- Will keep my promise.
Oh and yes the cost factor- I dont think I can get a cheaper install done anywhere else!!!
Thanks Jerry and crew!

Re: ICE the Beast

So the Safari gets Re-ICED once again! Awaiting more pictures. How does the Morel DLS combo sounds? Its good that you went with only midbasses at the rear.

You can check it anytime in the eve after I return from office or today at Trv.

There is no another installer who does this professionally at Trivandrum. I have been to almost all and know few of them.

Sounds really good, the highs sound very natural and pleasing, the midrange is just about right and the sub is well integrated. Its not tiring even at high volume. I like the way how your Morel maximos sound compared to my Focal Polyglass. My next set if i ever change would probably be from Morel.

Try the DLS a second time when you get an amp good enough.

Waiting for you to sell your amp

Been to a drive and music was on full during the drive. Loved it to max! All enjoyed the music and like you said didnt fatigue anyone even when we played for hours at 80-90% volume.

Re: ICE the Beast

Upgraded the 4 channel to Hertz EP4X! Morel isnt morel anymore! :( Sounds brighter though the upgrade to a more powerful amp helped me hear new things.
