You must have bought the 4ga kit @ Rs 4990. The 7ga kit is for Rs 2490.

So does that kit contain all the stuff needed to assemble the unit ? I mean, multiple RCAs / Speaker wiring ?

Also any inputs on the PowerBassUSA wiring kits ? Apparently, they contain everything one will need to add in am amplifier.

Here is the link: XTK Series Wiring Kits

Please take some time to actually 'read' the post before making comments on it! Nowhere in the post have I mentioned the cost of the 7ga wiring kit! And of course it costs Rs. 2490/- and not 5000/-

Nitin,
The Bull wiring kit comes with one RCA so you will need to get another one separately and also speaker wire will have to be procured separately. Apart from that the fuse and the power cable is part of the wiring kit.

Yeah FLS. i saw that but I was kinda looking for something that contains everything, in sub 2.5K budget. I am not really comfortable paying 3K just for few wires.

I may be terribly wrong here, but at the face of it, it seems totally weird to pay that much of money. That too considering the fact that the Amp itself costs just 5K

Nitin,
I would recommend that you spend the money on a good wiring kit and not cut corners there unless you want to risk frying you amp or something else in the car. The wiring kit will still cost 2.5k or 5k irrespective of whether you use a 5k amp or a 50k amp so do not compare the two.

Powerbass is a decent brand in usa. I'd think they do have a decent standard. Better than many unbranded kits and the duplicates.. I'd take the Powerbass anyday.. Decent 8ga wiring

You can try sourcing something like this costing 60$
Scosche E1000 - Scosche E2 4g. 1000W Complete Amplifier Kit
Oother way is to try assorted purchase locally, buy finolex cables power, ground(150-400p/m)(about 6meters together) and signal wire any good automotive wire(50) + ofc speaker wires(25p/m minumum)(15meters) + rca cable branded(500-1500) or MX type (200-400) +fuse(200) and connectors, loom and tie cables for 500. can work out cheap or costlier as per your selection
Otherwise go to a good installer to avoid the trouble since all these have to be properly installed also.

Actually getting the stuff from the US is not a viable option, considering the shipping and other costs involved. Although I have bought all my stuff from the US but that was purchased while I was there. Also I dont have any friend of mine, who is there at the moment.

Thanks for the reply anyway, Gigy.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/1061613-post20.html

Back to topic now.

nitin if you dont have a budget for wiring then you can do what aditya did over here
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/839194-post28.html

Buy Fuse, RCA (scosche or any other that fits in your budget), finolex / Polycab and the speaker cables that comes with JBL speakers does good enough job.
