Finally High Fidelity - Clarion HX D2 with Dynaudio and Steg

Finally after a long wait and a brilliant effort by frankmehta got to lay my hands on the mighty HX D2

Since 9887 is not too bad a HU but was not sufficient for Dyns. Now when I switched over to HX-D2 the Dyns felt more livelier, tonal balance is excellent and best of all, it is just so melodic!

Currently the HU is running absolutely flat and the XO are cut at 63Hz from HU

A detailed report will be coming soon

Now let the pics do the talking:

It's the month of Love, JK... what better time to spend on your ICE

That's the external DC-DC power supply. It regulates the power going to the HU, provides battery backup for the HU's memmory and filters noise etc...

OT: The Frankster conned you into selling him your 9887, huh?

Zucchero bhai:

Congratulations on getting a great sounding HU

Would like another audition when you're in Delhi next...

When are you going to finalize sub and sub amp?

HEARTIEST of HEARTY congratulations to a great man! lucky paaji, looking at the HU (which I didnt get to see when it was in mumbai, since it was in oodles of packing) I can say that its absolutely worth the LOOOONG wait! brilliant head unit and the perfect complement to your already brilliant setup. after i ordered your head unit, I read so much on it on international forums that I felt like ordering one more for myself (but then reality dawned on me that i'm still a phateechar )
thank you for mentioning me sir, but it doesn't feel like too much of an effort after hearing how happy you got on the phone when you first got your hands on it.
cheers!!
G.o.d bless you and enjoy the music (and remember me every time you listen to music on the HX-D2, ok? )!

PS: Can you list all your equipment, and also take some photos of the rest? IF possible, that is!

EDIT: Just looked at the head unit again! Feel like doing things to it :-P

Awesome . Though I'm not an ICE guy, I do know how much difference a good source can make to the sound. I'm sure you'd be really enjoying your new HU.
