As regards your whine (whistling sound), just change the power and ground cable. The total cost would be app 400-500. If its still there, change your amp.

Care to give a break up of 7000?

Abhinav is in UK now. :-)

You must have got the cables routed wrongly, if the whine/noise has come after rca change. please take it to reputed installers around and get it sorted out. the power and rca might be crossing each other, or improper grounding after the last remake

Hi team,
I am sorry for being away for such a long time. Much happening in life and no time to sit in front of computers , got married and recently got promoted, too much work to be done.
At last life got stable again and i am back.
Not too much happening in this timeframe. All the three services done for Accent. Total money spent in 1st year of ownership is 2500 Rs(excluding the denting work for scratches). So far very practical vehicle.
On the ICE front , i have changed enclosure from Tube to Sealed Box, however did not like the packed bass so removed the fibre glass from the box , still not satisfied with the bass. Planning to do some upgrade. Most probably would go for a JBL bass tube. PANKY please help with the options and prices. Also if i could get pricing on JBL Amps.

MB Quart has seen better days. Cadence (I dont know) - the Cadence I know is based in Pune and does NOT make car audio equipment. Kicker - some decent stuff but erratic. Listen before you buy.

Sub. Think JBL/GZ/Bull in this price range.

Try crossing your subwoofer a little lower (80z).

What's wrong with 100 other than having a bump if the full range speakers are High pass'd lower(~80Hz)?

Just read through this entire thread and I must say Garry boy has come a long way after a disasterous start.
Garry, there are two things you have probably got right till now and that is the head unit and the wiring, ok make that three things since you are happy with the desi amp. Now here is my personal suggestion :

1. You need to change the front coaxial speakers (or move them to the rear)
2. Sell off the 6X9s and get yourself components for the front.
3. If you are happy with the bass tube, keep it. If not change to a better sub or just remove the current sub from the tube and fit it in a sealed box.
4. Most importantly - Get your system installed & tuned from a professional because no matter how high end you equipment will ever be; if it is not installed or tuned professionally, it will never sound good and you will never get your money's worth.

well I forgot to mention that at this point of time I do not have any Sub in the SETUP.
I have given away the woofer and the enclosure as well. I will be buying a Sub Next month. Right now i have a 4 ch amp playing front and rear speakers.
@EPIC: The Rear speakers and amazing i would not like to change them. As far as components are concerned , the front Speakers(POLK AUDIO ) and doing and excellent job.
Please pool in suggestions for the SUB.
Tuning is pending , please let me know if someone can help me.

makes the sub less locatebale. One should not hear the sub's presence just notice it's absence.

Waiting and waiting

Hi guys ,
Thanks for all the inputs as I mentioned before at this point of time there is no sub in the setup. Here is what I have in mind for next month.
Right now i have a 4 ch AMP to power all the four speakers, with NO SUB. I am planning to get another 2ch amp and a SUB next month. The 2ch AMP will power the front POLK AUDIO because i want separate controls for the front speakers and the 2CH AMP will provide that(I intend to use the front speakers for Midrange and treble and rears for Low Frequency ).
The 4CH AMP that i have right now will power the Rear BOSTONs and the SUB (Bridged).
The total cost involved should be somewhere between 6 to 8K .
